Samsung has recently launched the new and awesome camera-variant of the Galaxy S5. The device has been named Samsung Galaxy K Zoom. On Tuesday, 29th April 2014 in the event at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singapore, the device was announced. It is the most anticipated camera variant for Galaxy S5. However, the company has not revealed about the pricing details of the camera yet. This is the second camera specialized smartphone from Samsung. Previously, they launched the Galaxy S4 zoom. The device packs a 20.7 megapixel rear camera at the back with BSI CMOS sensor technology. The rear camera is accompanied by a powerful Xenon Flash. The other features includes Optical Image Stabilization, Auto Focus, Auto Exposure Separation. The rear camera features 10x optical zoom which is very amazing. The rear camera has some unique functionality like the Pro Suggest mode that gives 5 optimized filter settings that you can according to your need. The new Galaxy K Zoom also house a 2 MP front facing camera for video calling and other features.
Talking about the screen of Galaxy K zoom, it comes with 4.8-inch Super AMOLED HD (720×1280 pixels) display. The Galaxy S4 Zoom had 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display.
Galaxy K Zoom is packed with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. The most amazing and superior among all is the processor. The device is having a quad-core 1.3GHz and a dual-core 1.7GHz which equals a hexa core processor. The chipset is thought to be Exynos 5 Hexa SoC with a Mali-T264 GPU. But the company has not revealed the actual chipset of the device.
The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom has 2 GB of Random Access Memory and 8 GB of inbuilt storage. It supports micro SD card and it is expandable upto 64 GB. The device packs a powerful 2430mAh battery.
